#NewRelease #YAParanormal- Forbidden Destiny by RaeBeth McGee-Buda

Forbidden Destiny by Raebeth McGee-Buda
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Releasing: October 1, 2017
Cover Designer: Emcat Designs

ABOUT:
We dream of our future and what we want to be when we grow up. These dreams are who we come to be: unless our destiny has other plans. Sophie Hathorn stumbled upon her destiny through her love of books. She learns she's part of a legacy of the most powerful witches, but with a twist. She's also part Wizard, which makes her the first and only Hybrid.

Struggling with her newly found life, Sophie must prepare and train for the biggest fight of her life. Eros, a Shapeshifter, and Succubus plan to overtake Sophie's hometown and call it his own. He's created an army of Cambion to help him fight. In the midst of the threat, the Wizard's Council comes into town to help Sophie prepare for the fight of her life when she finds herself romantically attracted to Mason; the son of the most powerful Wizard. However, the law has been set for centuries by the Goddess, Pax that no witch or wizard shall be involved romantically.

Not only is Sophie pressured to become the best Hybrid, but she's also fighting the internal battle of the feelings she has for Mason. Will she be able to handle the physical and emotional battle she's about to face or will she fall short?

***

Three days passed in a blur and Sophie was on edge. The Blackguard was due to arrive anytime during the day, which made her nervous. Time was ticking away, getting closer to the inevitable. Soon she would find herself making the journey into the Underworld and using the abilities she'd trained hard with Mason to perfect flawlessly. Today wasn't any different. Mason had her up right before sunrise and they were out the door to watch the beauty of the sun taking over the heavens, while birds dashed around graciously through the skies.

The past few days had been such a learning experience for Sophie. She learned exactly what she was capable of and learned more about the man who had, not only her heart but was connected in spirit. Surprisingly, he was a bit of a nerd under the tough outer side. He enjoyed some light reading and relaxing. Photography was his passion and he loved romance. He was a hopeless romantic. Three days of being alone with him, he had managed to fully win Sophie's heart and vowed to do whatever he had to while she was gone to change the laws of the land. They were meant to be together and he was destined to change anything that stopped it.

"What's on your mind?" Mason asked since Sophie was missing each power hit he knew she easily could have avoided.

"I'm an anxious mess," she replied.

"What else is new?" Mason joked.

"Hey, I may be a mess, but I'm a hot mess. Plus, you would be too if, in a matter of a few days, you'd literally be going through hell." Sophie rebutted.

"True. Wanna sit? Take a break?" Mason asked, motioning toward the large rock Sophie came to know well.

"Sure."

They walked hand in hand over to the rock and sat down. Nothing felt as good as being with Mason and knowing he had her back. "I seriously have no idea why I volunteered to do this. I mean, I do, but I don't. My gram is there, waiting. However, I have no idea what I may face and I'm not looking forward to the overly hot and nasty environment. The stench is enough," Sophie rambled.

"Shhh, let's not focus on that. You're doing what you are meant to do Sophie. Take pride in that. There are people out there who are fighting to find out their true purpose. Yours found you, not the other way around." Mason said.

After taking a deep breath and exhaling, "I know but not everyone is fighting Lucifer in Hell," she finished looking off in the distance.

"I can't tell you how to do this. Nor can I tell ya how to succeed, but what I can say is that I'm proud of you for trying. It kills me knowing you'll be doing this without me."

"It's what I was born to do...right?" Sophie asked, giving an unsure, yet questioning looks toward Mason.

"It's pretty messed up that you're in this position, but I think it's admirable for you to take a stand and do what needs to be done. Fear has nothing on you."

"Riighhhtt!" Sophie rolled her eyes.

"Let's get back to practice. Don't wanna waste what time we have left. The Blackguard should be there by the time we get back." Mason said, standing up.

Get ready for the HYBRID.... #forbiddendestiny

FORBIDDEN DESTINY
(BOOK ONE OF THE HYBRID SERIES)

You've asked for it, and I'm here to tell you that the newest Witch is in town. Sophie will be making an enchanting journey into another world and YOU are invited.

So, without wasting any more time...
Take a peek into her journey below:

Excerpt:

"Evil is upon us more than ever, child. The situation which faces us is one only those who have mastered the greatest magic can fight. We have demonic forces to face. Eros, an Incubus, has taken a vacancy in a tiny, dilapidated home on Lyons Avenue here in town. He plans to take over humanity. The Incubus is a shape shifter with power beyond belief."
"Shape shifters usually aren't our problem. Witches deal with nature and those of good." Emma commented.
"You are correct, but Eros’ intentions are not the best. He has been transitioning between his usual self to a Succubus. His immediate plan is to impregnate a mortal woman with his spawn, which he calls Cambion. The Cambion are demonic nature." The Goddess explained.
"How is it possible?" Sophie wondered.
"Eros is known for his abilities to shape shift into whatever he requires. It can be an animal, a human, or another demon. The possibilities are infinite. He's been presenting himself to human men as an attractive woman. He gets them to lay with him by influencing his victim with mind control. Once he has full control over the man, he steals their seed." Pax declared.
"What! That's screwed up and sickening! How can he do that? Isn't it against the force of nature?" Sophie interrupted.
"Yes, and that's why all good forces are called in. Once Eros has the seed, he shifts into an irresistible man for a mortal woman. He uses mind control on them, influencing them into bed where he plants the seeds of a mortal man and his own into the woman. The result is a Cambion."
"What does he stand to achieve by doing this?" Stella wondered.
"The plan is to construct a Cambion army. With this army, he plans to wreak havoc on earth. All life will be in complete control of evil. That will throw off the real balance of nature. Thus, not good for anyone or anything."
"What do they look like?" Emma asked.
"They appear as human but have power! They are devious and grow to the size of a seven-year-old mortal child within six months. They show no sign of life before the human age of seven, in other words, they have no pulse and don't breathe. They survive off of their mother during the six-month transition, slowly killing their mother while feeding off her energy and nutrition." Pax explained.
"Unbelievable!" Stella exclaimed, baffled.
"What happens once they grow to the size of the seven-year-old human?" Sophie asked, fiddling with her pillow.
"Eros will train them. Teach them to use their powers for evil so they can continue to grow their army. They will seek out feeble women who are depressed and alone. Eros makes those women experience a temporary calm, making them feel loved once again. He does the same to men. The guys he chooses are at their lowest of lows. He boosts them up with an attractive woman and makes them feel useful again."
"Let me get this right; he waits for those who are down in the dumps and uses them as prey?" Sophie asked.
"For the lack of better words, yes, I would say so." Pax agreed.
"You called on my dear granddaughter to help with this fight, didn't you?" Stella interjected.
"I do not say this with much happiness, but yes I did. Sophie has unique abilities, and with the right training and practice, she can become powerful. I feel she'll be stronger than Eros himself."
"I can't do something like that. I'm just a small town girl who knows how to give one hell of a massage. I'm not the person you're looking for, Goddess. You have the wrong woman."
"My daughter, I know what power you behold. For it was I, who gave it to you. I know you will be remarkable and do immeasurable things with proper knowledge and practice. I wish we were able to introduce you to the 'other world' before this moment, however, due to the circumstances we cannot change, you don't have much time."

The Gracious Wife #Release Info

Hey, Readers,
The moment you have been waiting for
has FINALLY arrived.

I'm here to tell you that
The Gracious Wife

will be AVAILABLE for your reading pleasure on...

Cover by Emcat Designs
Book Description:

Marriage can be surreal, unpredictable, and enticing all at the same time. We find and fall in love with our best friend, and all of our dreams seem to be coming true. We've heard of the princess being rescued by her prince and they ride off into the sunset to live happily ever after. Unfortunately, this isn't how marriage is in real life, especially when you're trying to be what God has called you to be. Marriage is two self-centered individuals coming together to live as one.

Given all the foes and dips that may come with marriage, this book gives the basic understanding of marriage the way God intended and not as the way fairy tales has made it out to be. It's meant to help wives be more self-sacrificial toward their husband by acting in grace, love, and forgiveness. In this journey with our best friends, we can work toward being more humbling and giving. It takes more than love alone for a great marriage. The basis of a great marriage starts with a strong spiritual foundation, a strong friendship which grew into a strong romance, along with tons of work, sacrifices, and submission by both partners to make it last.

This book provides Rae-Beth's opinion with communication, getting through the tough times, fair fighting, and keeping God the center of the marriage. Dive in and see marriage from one wife's perspective.

What do Authors want from Book Tours?

Book tours is one term that if you are an avid reader, you’ve heard a lot. But what exactly do the authors want out of them? Book tours are one great way to promote an authors work. Authors and bloggers work together to put on a book tour. Most of the time a book tour will include book reviews, guest posts on various blogs, interviews, vlogs, radio shows, giveaways, and more. Most of the time authors elect to do a book tour for the launch of a new book or another way to get the word out about a previously published book. There are tour companies out there that offer to put them together for authors or they can organize them on their own.

As an author, I do my own. If I can save a penny, I will. Yes, when putting them together it’s hard work, but in the end they are really fun. The main reason I choose to do book tours is for the reach out of new readers. Each one of my books carry a message. The more blogs who support and host my tours, the more likely it is for my books to be noticed.
I do offer giveaways on some of my tours, however I don’t think it’s a must. I think offering prizes during the tour adds in more excitement for the readers, but you don’t want to over do it by coming off as “buying” your readers.

Another thing I hope to get out of the tour is another blogger friend. I look forward to working with each blogger. They do so much for authors and most of the time, they get nothing in return. While some authors may offer ebooks as a thank you, not all do.

I love getting to know new readers along the tour. The reach I wouldn’t normally get on my own is expanded within the tour. Without the readers, authors wouldn’t survive. Therefore, I always think of them when planning. At each stop, I try to do something different. I have seen on many book tours, where the blogs pretty much post the same thing. I think this gets boring after seeing it so many times.

As a reader, what is your favorite thing about book tours?

As an author, what do you hope to get out of a book tour?

Note from the Author

I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for following along with a very special book tour for me. Out of all the tours I have been on, this one has meant the most to me. I want to thank each blogger who joined in and provided their own review of my book. Each one of you will always be in my heart and prayers. I truly appreciate everything you all have done. Below you will find the list of the bloggers who have helped me along this tour, in case you didn't get to follow along.
