Book Release Schedule

After much thought and polls from readers, I have finalized the book schedule of upcoming releases. Dates of each book haven't been set, but this is the order of books and what you can expect in the upcoming months from me.

1. Journey to Our Rainbow: Pregnancy After Loss (Working title)
2. Forbidden Destiny
3. Captured
4. The Guardian Angel
5. The Magical Butterfly (Children's book)
6. My Christmas Wish
7. Finding Joy After Loss

I'll be doing individual posts on each book to give readers and overview of what each book is about. This way if something captures your interest, you can keep an eye out for the updates.

Once each book is done and I do my first edit, I'll be calling on Beta readers to join in with the editing process. This way we can polish up the book before sending it off to the editor! If you enjoy beta reading, keep a look out for a sign up form with each book.

Thank you for your time,

Where is my Kindle Email?

As an author, I have realized many people out there are unsure of what their Kindle email is or how to even find it. Below is a step by step on how to find this.

***Be sure you are logged into your Amazon account on your computer. It's much easier from a computer.***

Step One: Go to My Account. Click on it and this will take you into your amazon account.

Step Two: Scroll down to the DIGITAL CONTENT

Step Three: In the digital content section, find Manage your Kindleand click on it.
***You will be prompted to resign in. Do it. ***

Step Four: On the left side panel, find Manage your Devices, which is listed under the Your Kindle Account.

Step Five: There you should find the devices that the Kindle is on. If you use more than one type of Kindle app, there will be several different tabs. Find the tab of the device you would like books emailed to. Then, click on it.

Step Six: An email should be listed that looks like this XXXXXX-XX@kindle.com. (Sometimes there are underscores and numbers within this email.) This is the email you need in order to send books to your Kindle device.

***Remember when you're sending books via email, the email that is sending the book needs to be on your Approved Personal Document E-mail List. If you are unsure of how to find this, please use this post to help you.***

How do I add an Email to my Amazon Approved E-mail List?

Here is a step by step guide on how to find the approved emails on your Amazon account and how to add one if the one you have isn't listed.

Please log into your Amazon account from a computer. This guide is written from the computer perspective.

Go to My Account

Scroll down to the Digital Content Section.

Find Manage your Kindle

On the left side panel under the Your Kindle Account, select Personal Document Settings.

On the next screen, the section labeled Approved Personal Document E-mail List is where you want to see if the email you have is listed.

If the email is not listed, you will need to add it.

In the box that pops up, put in the email you want to use to send files to your Kindle device.

Then click the add email button.

The email should now be listed and ready to use.

Once you see it there, you can begin sending files to your Kindle from that email address.

Join in and Pray with me for Nepal

This past Saturday was a dark time for Nepal after they were hit by a 7.9 earthquake, which left many hurt and in despair. This earthquake left mass destruction in its aftermath with many left hurt and many buildings were leveled. Historical monuments and other ancient buildings were leveled to the ground. Major highways were destroyed. Most of the houses in Nepal are well over thirty years old.

It was reported that in some isolated parts of Nepal, the quake triggered landslides which swept away a whole village. It triggered an avalanche at Mount Everest, killing at least 17 mountaineers, and seriously injuring 61 climbers. The quake hit in the middle of church services (services are on Saturday), killing 35 known Christians but church buildings in Nepal are modern and small, which prevented larger damage.

So, it's time we come together and pray for those who are left with the ruins of an earthquake, for the families who have lost loved ones, and for those who have yet to be found. God's mercy and love is needed in Nepal in the aftermath of this disaster.

Journey to Our Rainbow: Pregnancy After Loss #Teaser

I know that my faithful readers are wondering when my next book will be out. Well, I'm working really hard to make that happen for you.

Here's a teaser from my upcoming book
Journey to Our Rainbow: Pregnancy After Loss

I hope you enjoy!!

After the monitor was completely hooked up, they started an IV with fluids and oxytocin. The fluids were to ensure that I wasn't dehydrated and the oxytocin was to ripen my cervix. Shortly after they started the fluids, they checked to see if any progress had been made and where we were starting. The contractions I had been feeling since I woke up took me from one centimeter to about four centimeters before I got to the hospital. So, my body started labor on its own and the oxytocin was used to help speed things along. At this point, there was a lot of waiting and more of my family flooded my room to wait with me and be able to greet our miracle.

Even though I was surrounded by family, my heart still raced. I knew that the Lord was with me and I could have swore that so was Dakota. It was weird because every now and then I would get a sense of peace. Then, love bumps (kind of like cold chills but I'm not cold) covered my body. These feeling left me feeling incredulous with a mixture of worry. I know that God tells us not to worry or be afraid of the future. I had a hard time putting all faith and hope in the Lord because I was one of those believers who had something bad happen. More often than not, I lived through these bad things. God promised us three powerful promises that should fill us with peace and free me from my fear. He promised to fill me with joy in Christ now and forever.

I just had to trust Christ and the Lord would show me pure joy; infinite joy, all-satisfying joy, overwhelming joy in the very near future. I know that every trial that comes my way is a gift from God that's only preparing me for the glory He has in store for me. He was using Dakota's loss and Jaxson's birth to show me more of Jesus' glory. This experience would be one of the most heart-satisfying joys that I could ever experience in Jesus' glory.

The contractions came roughly every two minutes or so and I was still hanging strong with no pain medication while keeping in mind that the Lord was with me and He knew the outcome. The doctors slowly increased the oxytocin but after about four hours, they came into my room and started checking vitals. They watched the heart monitor for baby's heartbeat. I was asked to lay on my left side for a moment and then asked to roll over to my right side. As they helped me roll over, another nurse asked me to put on the oxygen mask. The medication resulted in back to back contractions, which caused baby's heart rate to drop. They got it back up. Docs and nurses were on it and got everything back in order. He was doing good afterward and had hiccups. His heart rate was about 163 and hanging in there. I was contracting without the medicine so they kept the oxytocin off for the time being.

Even after a bit of a scare, I knew that the Lord had his mighty hands on my son and He would take care of any problems that would have arisen. I believe that the staff that had been taking care of me and my son were angels on earth doing God's work. He gave them the wisdom to make the tough decisions, the grace to know what to do, and the strength to face each situation as it came. God would fully supply each and every need through these wonderful doctors and nurses.

Walking through Scripture

I have decided to expand here on the blog to include my faith. Normally, I only post things about my books or any news I have as an author. After a bit of thinking, that's sort of boring. My website does the same thing. So I asked myself, what can I do that's different from my website and not boring?

I've decided to add in Christ to my blog. So, yes this blog will continue to update you with all of my writings and snip-its of upcoming work. But you'll also be able to see my faith through, not only my books, but through my posts on the blog as well.

On the sidebar  ----------->

You will see a weekly scripture.

This scripture is the Bible verse I'm working to memorize for the week. I'd like to see my readers (who are interested) join me in learning these verses.

Why? You may ask.

Why not?

I believe that when we memorize Bible verses, we are preparing ourselves for life in the world. How can we face challenges in the world if we have no weapon to fight? The Bible is our weapon and the scripture within is our ammo. We need to fill up with ammo before we can join in the battle. Right?

So, are you with me?

If so, let me know in the comments below.

We'll memorize the verse displayed and a new one will be put up every Sunday.

Due to the fact that we have started this on a Friday, the current verse will be up until Sunday, March 29, 2015.

Once we get this going, I'll create a page for previous Bible verses that you can refer back to in the future.

**If you're unable to visit during the week, you can also subscribe to my newsletter which will include the weekly Bible verse. This way it will come directly in your inbox!!!

Don't forget to share so other's can join us in our walk through scripture.

Thank you for joining me.

Sincerely,

New Changes

After a bit of thinking and decision-making, I have decided to grow this blog into a bit more. I'm a Christian author and I believe that I can help those who come across, not only my books, but by my journey as a Christian. I'm in the process of writing another Memoir about my life as an adult. It's been a rough one, but through my trials I have learned a good bit. Therefore, I'll be doing some updating with this blog to not only include my books, but also small articles about my walk with Christ.

I'd love it if you enjoy the posts if you would subscribe to my blog via email. This way you don't miss a post.

Thank you.
